Mens Event Format:

• 20 Mens Teams
• Entry fee $850 per team
• Triple knockout with 8qualifiers
• Prize Breakdown (based on full entry):
  • Champion $7,000
  • Finalist $4,000
  • Semi-finalist (2) $2,500
  • Quarter-finalist (4) $1,750
• Send a check payable to Capital Curling for the full entry amount of $800, post dated no later than September 1, 2011 to:

• 16 Ladies Teams
• Entry fee $650 per team
• Triple knockout with 8 qualifiers

  • Finalist $2,000

  • Quarter-finalist (4) $1,000

Open Event Format:

• 8 Teams
• Entry fee $300 per team
• Round Robin with 2 events, 4 games guaranteed
• Prize Breakdown (based on full entry):
  • First Event Winner $800
  • First Event Runner-up $500
  • Second Event Winner $400
  • Second Event Runner-up $300

Games:

• All Games are 8 ends.
• Games tied after 8 ends (or an extra end) shall play a full extra end to break the tie
• Please play all extra ends towards the viewing area
• All games are to be played under current rules of the Canadian Curling Association for unsupervised play.

Kitchen:

The kitchen at the RCMP Curling Club will be open during various hours during the event and we encourage participants and spectators to take advantage of the service.
